The Adventure Extreme programme has been designed to give young people between age 10 and 15 the opportunity to advance their skills in adventurous activities. On a standard day participants will take part in 2 activities, setting out from the Boiler House at 9:30am and returning for 3:30pm. We also provide extended hours childcare to this programme which is from 8:00am to 6:00pm. This programme is part of the Ofsted registered ‘CI Adventures Holiday Club’ allowing for payment through childcare vouchers. You may also be able to claim for some of the costs of this provision through Working Tax Credits.

Extended Hours Childcare: This programme is Ofsted registered and designed to offer a wide range of activities, it is based in The Boiler House and runs from 8:00–9:30 and 3:30–6:00. Activities are based around a different themed week each holiday. The activities take on a whole new meaning of fun, creativity and exploration though the use of walking stories, games, cooking, educational quizzes and puzzles. Interesting craft and design projects like planning and building your own bridge or igloo and making a bird box happen each week as well as a insight into other types of activities such as winter mountaineering.
What shall I bring? Participants are asked to bring clothes that they don’t mind getting a little dirty, waterproofs, a packed lunch and a drink. They should also bring a spare change of clothes and a towel. All the specialist equipment for the activities is provided.
